Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the scientific excellence of the program through the expertise of epidemiologists and public health professionals from academic institutions, public health services, and international organizations such as the CDC and WHO.
  • Continuously adapt the program to meet the public health needs of the country.
  • Propose and approve the calendar of educational activities, including courses and workshops for teachers and mentors.
  • Propose mechanisms and procedures to maintain regular evaluation of the program and implement necessary corrective measures to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure effective communication of program results and progress to the Ministry of Health and Population.
  • Assist in implementing recommendations from FETP trainee surveillance reports and audits.
  • Serve as a technical expert in epidemiology and public health matters.
  • Guide the FETP in addressing key public health challenges.
